Meet Mrs. Armbruster

My name is Mrs. Linda Armbruster. I was born and raised in St. Louis. If you are from St. Louis, you may be thinking, "Where did you go to high school?" I attended Cor Jesu Academy:) After high school, I ventured off to "Tiger Country," graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After interning at Wydown Middle School and teaching mathematics at Jefferson R-7 School District in Festus, Missouri, I began teaching in the Ladue School District in 1996. I taught 8th grade mathematics on the Pioneer Team for three years and then had an opportunity to teach at the elementary level at Conway Elementary. I have been here ever since. While teaching, I continued my studies and earned a Masters degree in Education and a Reading Specialists certification from Maryville University. After eight years in fifth grade and five years in Learning Lab and two years in 4th grade, I am thrilled to be teaching this wonderful group of 3rd graders.

My favorite thing to do outside of teaching is spend time with my family. I am so lucky to be the mother of three wonderful daughters, Julia, Laura and Amanda, and the wife of an incredible husband, John. Last spring we added a puppy to our clan. Roxie is a perfect fit. She brings just the right amount of crazy and love to our household:) As a family, we spend much of our time outdoors at ball parks and soccer fields, at dance performances, and at our home, playing and creating. You may spot us all around Ladue since Julia is a 7th grader at Ladue Middle School, Laura is a 6th grader at Ladue Middle School, and Amanda is a 4th grader at Conway. I feel so fortunate that my daughters call Ladue their home district. Go Rams!
